Workout:800/2k/800/2k/800 with 2 min rest 800s @ (2:42-48) 2ks @ 8k-5k (5:55-5:45)

Overall pretty pleased with this workout and how it went. Didn't necessarily execute perfect but got good work in. Took off with the idea of being maybe high 2:40s on the first 800 but hit 80 at the first 400 so relaxed just a tad. Goal then in the 2k was to try to start close to 6 flat pace and work down but again after the quick 800 I hit 85 in the first 400. from there I found 5:43-45 pace and just stayed there. knowing i was working but not over the line. Next 800 I was working but after 400 I found just a steady discomfort and hit quick. Last 2k with everything being quick again I was trying to think to myself to be 5:55-6:00 pace through first 800 but hit 2:52. Surprisenly i stayed at the same pace trying to be relaxed. Last 800 goal was to be 80-81 at 400 which I did then run strong to run under 2:40 which did perfectly. Was tired on that but pleased with it.

2ks were maybe a little quicker then planned today so pushed slightly more but still good work. Felt hard but not all out and with lower mileage and just one easy prep workout to go I feel good with that.
