Notes

Another 2k time trial at the park today. Got a good start of around 7 AM when I as ready to go. Best estimate was between 7:18-7:23. I was hoping to be faster and minimum satisfaction was 7:25. Started out and hit 2:58 for the first 800 which was a little blow but I felt stronger then last time. Hit 1k around 3:40-41 and again was still feeling stronger then last time. Coming up to the mile was winding up for a good kick and hit 5:57 and started going. Felt I had a better longer kick then last time but maybe still a little more but ran 83 and 7:20 right in the middle of the best estimate. After I did 5 x 200 on off at around 1500-800 effort. Hit was uncoordinated feeling to run a 40.

Overall pleased with it. I want to keep getting back so I would have liked to be a little faster but realistically 17 second drop in just a 2k time trial is decent. Think I will stick with my basic plan right now since I am still improving. Next time out can we be under 7:10. I ran even and felt strong so the limiting factor is Neuro and turnover so may need to focus a little more with strides and the fartlek each week but still keep it light until not improving anymore.
