Workout: 6 x 1k @ AP(3:25-3:32)/3 min rest + mile breakdown@ AP (400/400/800)half time rest + 2 x 200 @ R

Well today wasn't the best day with me being on top of my game but I was able to adjust as I went to get done what I needed to get done. The original idea was 6 x 1k @ AP with 200 jog around 90-100 seconds then finish with a mile at 10k-5k pace. However my legs just weren't moving smooth at pace and breathing was tough. I came through the first 400 in 88 seconds which is way to slow. After number 3 I decided I wanted to run a proper AP workout so I wouldn't worry about short rest and switch to 3 min rest so I could hit sub 3:30's on the second half of the workout. Just took it 1 at a time and made it to 6 cutting down. After 6 I decided to get the mile I had planned in as a breakdown. Ran 2 400s a little quick on short rest so decided to do a full 800 which I was happy with what I hit.

Overall pleased with myself to work getting through the workout and making adjustments to get what I needed in and not overthink it. Did well to focus one rep at a time in the second half of the workout. Probably didn't warmup up good enough with a couple hard efforts before getting started and maybe took for granted the workout coming off last saturday 1200s at same pace and runnin 5:34 to close out the workout wednesday. Big miles the last few days too.
