I know I need to give my feet a break, but another race that starts just blocks from my house was hard to resist. Dad and I joined some same day registration crowds for a run in the sleet and snow. It ended up being a great day for a race. I was surprised by my first mile split, decided to ignore it and believe that the mile marker was off. Turns out it wasn't off by as much as I thought. Fun race and some good scones afterwards!
