Didn't have a set workout today as it's actually supposed to be an OFF day. I didn't think I deserved a day off since I've been missing a few days here and there over the last couple weeks.
Went down to the treadmill at the hotel and decided I'd run until they closed at 10pm. I knew this could be a tough run because I was still tasting my dinner. I took it easy early until I felt pretty good and was mildly confident I wouldn't throw up on the treadmill. At that point I decided to do a tempo run and do a 5k. Ended up at 7:18/mile...not too bad considering the sauna like conditions.
Oh yeah...just putting this out there. I'd really like to go sub 21 minutes (6:45/mile) for the 5k run @ the King Tut Tri in 3 weeks. Ok, it's out there now. No turning back.
