Chest/Back

Got in the gym for my first real weight workout in a LOOOOONG time. Last real workout that I logged was in April of 2006, but I was lifting in 2007/2008 some as well (I guess I wasn't logging it then).

This was ugly. Everything felt so foreign to me. It's crazy how something that I used to do so much back in college feels so weird now. Don't get me wrong, it felt great to be in there doing my thing and my muscles feel shredded now, but it was still weird. I've lost so much in terms of what weight I can lift. It's going to take a while to rebuild and get back to what I used to do. I'm going to be consistent over the next 2-3 weeks at this and then decide if this is how I really want to spend my workout time (instead of taking away from biking/running). I'll still try and get in some mountain biking and commuting for sure, but do I really want to make weight lifting my focus?? Not sure...but time will tell.

Oh yeah, I'm going to hold off on the push-up challenge. I can't do that and weights at the same time as the don't compliment each other well. I may search for some kind of ab challenge instead to supplement weight lifting.
