Rachel and I decided to do a 7-day clean eating challenge. The goal is to completely cut out processed foods, preservatives, additives, etc. I'm not doing it to lose weight but rather to see what kind of benefits it has on my digestive system.

As part of the challenge, we have a menu that we are supposed to follow with 6 meals a day (breakfast, am fuel, lunch, afternoon fuel, dinner, pm fuel). We got a 7-day supply of Shakeology from Team BeachBody to serve as our breakfast or am fuel each day. This will definitely be a challenge but I'm looking forward to getting more educated about healthy eating and learning what I like and don't like. To be honest, I don't really think much about what I eat except trying to avoid eating a bunch of fried food or sodas. This should be interesting...

I'll try and post a follow-up after the challenge is over with my thoughts and experiences.
