Well, this didn't go according to plan. I had a training class down at the TI HQ (635/75) and was excited to bike down there. I was also excited to try out my new Novarra Pannier. I only bought one since it was roomy enough for all my gear + laptop. I rode almost 7 miles and then on one of the street crossings the rear rack clip of the pannier snapped and the bag locked up my rear tire (fell into spokes) and I skidded across the road. Crap! I was able to switch the bag to the other side and just ride slowly the rest of the way in. I burned up my rear tire skidding and was afraid I'd get a flat, but thankfully made it.
