been wanting to do a fartlek workout and saw it again on The Master Shift yesterday so since I knew this was going to be on the treadmill, I went for it. 1min @ 6:58, 1min rec, 2min @7:08, 2 min rec, 3 min @ 7:19, 3 min rec, 4 min @ 7:30 4 min rec and then back down the ladder. It felt good. kinda feel like it was off...like it felt too easy to be those paces but then again, it was fartleks so it wasn't like I sustained pace very long. My HR, on the down side of the ladder was, in the middle of marathon pace 150, half marathon pace 152, 10k was 156, and 5k pace was 161.
