The 5 miles around the lake with the running group and then another 5 mile loop alone. Great run, sweet fellowship!
I literally, ran into a baby rattlesnake! I stopped to see if it was something I could catch and bring home to the boys but the head shape and coloring made me immediately look closer...sure enough, he had one little rattle at the tip of his tail. I stomped and shooed him off the path of other runners and he wiggled off into the brush. Those baby rattlers are the most dangerous! I'm thankful that my boys have been obsessed with snakes for years and I've looked at and read countless snake books and was able to identify this one. :)
