Ran the FF-Fenton Loop, but added on to get 8 in. Ran down to Old Gravois Bridge, and checked out the north end of George Winter Park. Lots of flooding along the Meramec. The Meramec Greenway Trail is flooded in spots, and the water is nearing the road in spots as well, including right in front of the Queen of Hearts Lounge. Its a good thing the bass boat is parked outside, in case the water makes it up to the Lounge...people can still hang out and be shady in the boat. It all makes sense now.

George Winter Park is really under water. The path from the park to the Old Gravois Bridge that Amy and I ran on last week is now under a good couple feet of water, which is crazy. But, yeah...the Meramec is up pretty darn high.

Saw a cop car driving through Fabick Nature Reserve. Kinda freaked me out, cuz I was running down the path, rounding a curve in the path, and I could hear a car coming...which is weird, since vehicles are prohibited, and sure enough, a car came zipping around the corner. The cop was just as startled to see me though. so...yeah.

The big hills up the bluff...they still stink. Go figure.

Oh...I got 3 cat calls on my run today. Skenton lived up to the task. The good news in that, is that all 3 cat calls came from girls. Nice. Much better than those cat calls from guys 2 weeks ago in Kirkwood. That was just creepy.

First run in my new Cumulus. I liked the shoe a lot for about 4 miles...then I started getting hot spots. It was big and in between the balls of my right foot, and on my heel on the left foot. Weird. Hopefully just a brief break in process. Oh well.
