COMMENTS: Start of week 6 of the "Couch to 5K" program--jog 5 minutes, walk 3, jog 8, walk 3, jog 5. My jogs were all safely in 12 minute mile territory (11:58, 12:04, 11:36), and my pulse only briefly jumped above 160 BPM (in the eight-minute jog); during the walks, my pulse dropped back to the 120s pretty quickly. (I'll time it next time to see how fast it dropped.)
