Forums >Running 101>40s+ on the Run - Happy New Year! (Week of 12/30/07)
It's come to my attention that the custom here at RA is to put groups such as ours in the "User Groups" section rather than here on the general, "All About Running" forum. My thoughts on this are: pro: it's poor form not to adopt the already-existing customs con: I like having us in the Running 101 forum since it's like putting out the welcome mat for newbies Anyone else? I'm running somewhere tomorrow. It's going to be beautiful. I can't wait.

... So maybe we're actually suppose to be in the Groups forum like Arla has indicated. The question is, which group? Do we establish ourselves in the Masters Group for 40+ (of course, taking along our almost 40ers), establish a new group? The Masters Group isn't just for people with experience. You can join the group and check it out, at no cost. We can keep a thread here for awhile to ensure all our pals have joined us in the move. Thoughts? Concerns?

I am not keen on adding new forums to the public boards because having too many forums will make it hard to find the one you're looking for.
