Kristin: those things happen about once a month. And they are perpetuated by people who ordinarily never post on this forum. You can still hang around here and avoid them.
Ehhh, yeah, I know. This is a much calmer place than it was when I first joined on RW, I think. Real life has enough drama, though.
I did go read baboon and mbc's RR, just now though- nice race, guys! Baboon, I knew you were happy with your race, it's great to see how well it went! And very encouraging for me, as I am busting my butt at the Y these last couple of weeks! lol

I agree. I was going to say the same thing.
Wait, LRB likes to chase cats?

Run to live; live to run
Well I was sort of joking about the FE because I know what weekends visiting family are like. (And did not even realize there was a wedding. Ooh!) But anxious to see how your recovery goes, so I can try to keep up (as if)! How many marathons have you run anyway? (And what is OBX?)
OBX is Outer Banks of North Carolina. It is a great race.
I've run 5 but completed 4 as one marathon was a DNF last year.
If we can fit in an FE we will.

1. AWESOME news on the upcoming TM work
and
2. Ignore the drama, we is cool peoples to hang out with.
I raced a rabbit the other day, poor little guy had no where to go but in front of me down the sidewalk.
LRB...That's a good workout, but I hate doing those on the road. I always feel like a fool just basically sprinting at random intervals. I know you like to chase cars, tractors, rabbits, cats, birds and anything else that will play with you though, so you probably don't share my concern.
FYP!

lilac_jive, yay, I'm excited for youjjs22, I'm a preschool teacher.
Rick, that interval workout sounds brutal
SIAR, awesome hilly 10.63.
Kristin79, that sounds like an invigorating workout. Good luck on Thursday!
I'm on my way to the gym to do weights, an hour on the TM, and forty-five minutes on one of the other cardio machines. Let's see how THAT goes.
My dog caught and ate a bunny the other night.
Oh wait, that's not really a good story.
Go figure

Thanks, you guys. The funeral was very difficult. He was such a vibrant spirit and it's hard to believe I'll never see him again.
I ran my 8 miles and it started raining at mile 7.9, of course. I would have liked that to start about 3 miles earlier.
MBC is off to her first triathlon tonight!
GOOD LUCK MBC!!
Team TJ
4.5 miles done early this morning.
Basya, I'm amazed daily at the level of workout effort you put in! Nice job!
Running for TJ because he can't.
hello naked-dude-doing-the-Colleen-pose, and red-beans-and-rice-didn't-miss-her dailies!
FLA - enjoy the warm
Step - nothing wrong with adding easy miles
Tom - nice job on the fast finish
Marjorie - have fun at the wedding
D - good run to you
Dave - DOMS DOMS DOMS
Oski - good 4. And hasenpfeffer!
April - sorry to hear that
Basya - I'm very impressed by this continual rain. How it blots out the sun constantly is quite the accomplishment. I just wish it would stop.
Kristin - yup, that's the fun of fartleks. Just run fast when you want, for as far as you want.
Lilac - acclimate, it only will get worse
Baboon - congrats on the 10
Brr - enjoy the mini taper
Zel - hope the knee feels well
jjs - Plaxico is in your running group?
Ric-G - have a good one too
Scotty - but those drinks are still in mason jars, right?
Rick - if it snows here on Father's Day, I am moving south and you're welcome to join me, lol.
SIAR - nice hills, have fun mowing
Kristin - it was one heck of a meltdown thread, I wish they happened less. The dailies seem pretty immune.
Sparker - rabbits can be beaten, deer are untouchable
MBC - good luck!
Robert - good run
21.1 done under ideal conditions - 67, cloudy, mildly humid from earlier rain with a light drying breeze. GMP plus a minute.
2 miles with hubby and weights. My husband's first 2 miler with no walk breaks. Very happy for him.

You're doing it...uh, I mean he is!
Maybe both?
