Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Thanks Holly! I'm not sure if I'll go through with the four 16 milers...my body didn't handle it very well two weeks ago...but we'll see...

Thank you Holly.
50.8 miles this week, with the Glass City HM in 1:46:41. Really enjoy halfs as they make solid training runs.
Philippians 4:13.

I have been inspired by reading your 40/40 thread for some time now. I'm not in 40 mpw shape, but when I decided to do a couple of easy miles on my rest day and had a fairly long run scheduled for the weekend, I was so close to 40 by accident that I had to do it. I'm 49 btw so I think it qualifies!

Thanks Mike! Heard that song every morning getting on the bus in second grade
Hiya, teammate!
I start singing that song every time I have to use a dolly to move something. My singing always inspires others to roll their eyes.
So do I! But most people just tell me to shut up!
Thank you Holly! I needed that free pass

Really enjoyed Boston this year. It was warm and sunny at the start, so I took it easy, hoping to pick up the pace later in the race. But it never happened. Ended up with a 6 minute positive split: 1:33/1:39. Still almost 18 min under BQ2017, which for me is 3:30.
