Good Morning Hermosaboy!
3 easy-paced miles for me followed by 30 minutes of misc. weightwork. Another day of conference and then I head home tonight, leaving 4:30 from the hotel, 6:30 from the airport - to Chicago and then another flight back down to Dayton. I should be home before 1am. Seems almost like I could have driven the distance in that time.....
Good luck to the weekend racers! (especially MikeE)
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Shhh - I was sleeping!!
Safe travels Holly. Hope you have a good book to read!!

Sounds like a full day Holly -- safe travels!
4.6 miles with Miss Rosie this morning. 55 degrees was lovely, but the 92% humidity -- not so much.
MikeE must be on his way to the starting line -- run well my friend!
BTW -- I think we need some puppy pictures today...
Kids and Puppies are always a good combination.....
The big boy ..... Jelly Belly.....
Agreed -- thanks for the pics!!!
Ran 4.5 miles this morning. 51°.
Anyone else notice that dg, Mustang Sally, and berger haven't been around much or at all since meeting me at Bayshore? Just mentioning it, not saying there is a direct cause and effect....
We were hoping no one would notice that.
Seriously, I think we're just chillin' out waiting for Ragnar next week. The elevations and mountains have me a bit worried, I can tell you that ...

Love the Pics !
Go Mike E
Today makes two morinings running where the running has been interrupted by booming T-Storms.
In the last 30 hours we've gone from 95 deg's with 100+ heat index to 50 degs and humidity below 50%. Tomorrow we are attending an outdoor wedding in Milwaukee WI. DW and the girls are all shopping for shawls (sp?) and jackets today. I've had a peak at the bridesmaid dresses...I think they may be hoping for a quick ceremony. I'm sure the couple has a back up plan...

Bill, who are the runners on the Ragnar team? If this was posted before, I missed it. Lett us know. Spareribs

I ran 6 miles nice and easy tonight, and plan to run 3 super easy this afternoon. That's my taper plan for 2 races this weekend.
Nothing as tough as Mike E's of course.
Runners run
Just a quick post on yesterday's run which was supposed to be a 5 miler but was cut short by a huge Thunderstorm - luckily DW was on her way home from work so I took refuge and waited for her to come by and pick me up. I ended up doing 3.67 miles 33:01 (9:00).
I'll be running a 3 mile race this evening which is the first race I ever ran back in 2003! Hoping for something 20:00 or less and anything in the 19x time frame and I will be ecstatic!
Good luck to MikeE and anyone one else racing this weekend.
Good Luck to our Weekend Racers!!
Holly - 1:00 a.m.? Ugh! Safe travels.
Mary - Is that your neighbor girl? How cute!
1 hr of stationary biking for me this a.m. Forced myself to go that long since I couldn't do my pool run last night. This weekend will be comprised of helping Karen move (not sure what I'll be doing since I can't function on two legs) and getting control of the transcription I've acquired over the past couple of weeks.
Oh - I'm one-crutching it today to see how things go. Keep your fingers crossed.
Have a great Friday ~

We won't be a terribly competitive Team though we will be a Fun Bunch! MillBot is the Team Captain. So it is obviously all his fault.
