Notes
Run from my flat all the way to the top of Devil's peak and back down to tafelberg rd. Was going to meet Nic at Mount Nelson, but missed him by a few minutes. Tried to catch him, but wasn't sure of route, so just went up through Deer Park. Felt relatively strong on the hills, although had to walk a bit. Got to tafelberg rd, and took a while to get my breathe, but saw the headlamp of Nic and he started to ascend. After climbing for a few minutes, got my breathe back, and felt strong all the way up, and finally caught up with just as I got to the top of Devil's Peak. Relatively easy on the way down, with a few chats and stops. We ran along tafelberg at around 4:40 pace, until Nic's wife caught up with us and I got a lift back down with them. Overall, very happy with the effort, today at work will be interesting...
