Legs 8/10 - got heavy around 12/13 when going into the wind.
Wanted to push the pace a bit - closer to my suggested EZ pace from McMillan/Tinman, etc. based on my 5k/10k times and not on "my" estimated GMP. I watched HR closely so I didn't go too hard. Funny that HR was as high during first 5 miles. Next 5 had some downwind in there and even at ~9:00/mi HR was in the mid 150's for miles 9-11.
Ran in shorts and l/s shirt. Gloves got wet and hands were freezing. Need to take 2nd gel before 13 miles!

miles 6-10 - 152 :: 9:15
miles 11-16 - 161 :: 8:59 (8:36 and 8:19 last 2 miles)
