This is a relay race held each year from Halifax to Lunenburg Nova Scotia, to celebrate the history of illegal rum running. I had shelved myself from racing for the rest of the year, however, the team at work was short bodies due to a number of injuries so I decided to run this leg as I am not planning on running any other races this year. It went pretty well, all things considered. I finished about 50 seconds slower than last year, however, considering the training, or lack thereof, that I have done this year, I think I got pretty much all I could out of myself. I will take it as I have not done any speed work.
