Ran on "The Bluff" which is a really technical trail for the first time ever. I think I am hooked on this kind of workout as long as I don't feel too bad tomorrow when I wake up.
Running it really forced me to slow down and I think the twists turns up and downs really worked out my core. I felt as wiped after this one as I have at the end of some 20 milers on the roads. As well, a lot of the course is soft which is good on my legs. A final bonus of this trail is there are 4 separate loops or turnaround points. I chose to run only to the first one today (more because I am out of shape and also because I don't want to push the injury. That said, it provides lots of opportunities to lengthen the run.
