2 mile warm-up and then 2 min point to point with active rest. Had to do this on the treadmill because of my schedule which I believe slowed me down. I averaged 5:15.8 for each of the 2 min intervals or .38 (608 meters).
I feel like I could have handled 5 min pace on the road or track for sure. My total time for 5 miles was 26:19.32, Adam Goucher ran 23:54. No-one else on the team ran 5 miles, I can take that as a positive for me. For the whole workout averaged 6:23, that is pretty good. I had no real oxygen debt with this workout, also a positive.
