Road the Lilac Century with Craig Deitz and eventually some of the Emde team that I believe got dropped. Started after the pack left and so Craig was insistant on catching back up. Both of us lost our chains, I at the bottom of Big Sandy and he a few miles after. We finally got connected with a good group of 7 at Reardan and by mile 70 it had grown to about 12. We avg just over 20 on the way out, lost of bit of time from 50-70 miles and then flew the last 30. The group helped. I felt great through about 95 and 100-104 was death. First ride over 100 and I probably need about 8 more. Overall a great experience.
