Took me more time than I thought to transition to the run. Put on my race belt, ipod, and bottles that I will be carrying for the race. Followed the course out towards Higgins aiming for 7:30's but was a little fast. At four miles I turned around and was able to hold 6:40's back to the car. Was concerned at first because the effort wasn't that easy, then I got into a groove and felt great. Pushed pretty hard the last two miles.
