Notes
The first mile was jerky and slow (kept it as slow as possible because of flagging confidence from the last burnout.) It was actually a pain and I was concerned I wouldn't make it through. But after mile one I felt ''warmed up'' and we took the second mile at a faster pace. The third mile was somewhere in between, nice and steady. Overall miles 2 & 3 were strong, mile 1 was weak, and the overall time was slow but we beat a distance PR and I traveled the 5K distance for the first time.
There have been better days, there have been worse days. The most important thing is, I'm still in the game.
