Week 1, Day 1 of Spring Training
Easy 1.5 miler.
The sun was out but I was wearing my new sports sunscreen--very effective! I barely even noticed we were in the sunshine, which is amazing considering I'm usually suffering at the tiniest hint of a ray.
We ran slow on purpose, kicked up our pace after the first .75-1 mile. Felt the workout burn, but no major conflicts or difficulties. I realize this is the way it should be for the short days.
My knee hurt, though. I think it's important to kick up the strength training weight for the quad extensions because my knees are asking me to go to the next level.
