Well, this was harder than I expected, I guess it's been a while. We kept going at a snail's pace
(''snail, snail, snail, snail'') I deliberately ran slower than I thought I had to. First mile was easy, conversational. Second mile was a bit more difficult, but still kept a conversation pace (got cranky.) Third mile was more difficult, but we were picking up the pace there. I think we set a PR for slowness, but I'm under the impression that's what you're supposed to do.
I really have no complaints, it was a mostly enjoyable run and 50 minutes out in the sun with my SPF 60 did not leave me sunburned. I am happiness.
