Whew. That was a long run. Now I just need to be able to do double that distance :) I know I can't think about it that way. I felt good most of the way. I ate 4 pbj halfs at 8, 12, 16 and 23 (because I forgot and started running with the others) That was the best part of the run. Knowing that after 19 miles I would meet up and run 5 with Joe, Pete and Justin. I was feeling a bit sore at the end but not too bad. Joe hit a new distance PR with a 5.5 mile run! A great day.
I wanted to add that this was the longest duration since my first marathon when I ran 7 minutes longer. Also this is the most miles in a 2 day period: 32. And this is my new max miles in a week: 62.7. Now I need to keep this up but not get injured. Definitely a recovery day tomorrow!
