Notes
Went to Hickman track and had it all to myself. I was slow to start and just need to make peace with the track and the different kind of discomfort it produces. When I'm running fast it feels so good. I never feel like that at Marathon pace and only seldom on the T/TH runs, usually when finishing down one of the big hills.
I ran 1 mile warm-up, then 4 X 400, then 1 mile easy, then 4 X 400, and finished with 1 mile warmdown.
400 times: 97, 89, 88, 87, 84, 82, 80, 67. I can't believe there was 30 seconds between the 1st and last 400. I guess I really eased into it. Now I need to integrate speed into at least one workout a week and preferably two.
