Was really looking forward to running this workout with the Lunatics. The plan was to run 3 wu, followed by 2 X 2 miles at Tempo pace (I planned 6:10 per mile) with a 3 minute recovery, then a 5 mile wd.

I don't know what was wrong with me, but I felt worse every step. Yesterday was a tough day in the GI way, and my weight this morning was foreshadowing of things to come. I threw in the towel at 3 miles, went to Ernie's for breakfast (including 2 cups of coffee). Then I barely made it home before the coffee had its effect. After the "event" I felt much better, but still decided not to run again. I'm glad I just accepted the situation and bowed (boweled) out.
