Military APFT. Maybe my last. PU-63, SU-71, 2 mile-11:51. I haven't been doing any PU of SU, but I was ready for the run. An ROTC cadet and I had planned to race for months, and so it was. We took off together, but he started to drop back after a 2:58 first half, then continued to die, finishing in 13:30. I ran 5:54, 5:57. 1/2 warmup and 1 mile warmdown. I had a lot left and think I could have gone 11:30 easy. Felt great.
While I was at drill, Melanie and co. raised $1,417 for Max (toward a new van).
This evening we had a poker game.
