Notes
Ran part of the Heart of America course with Melanie. It was foggy and the temp was perfect. I don't know if I've ever had a more beautiful run. The trees were so green, the humidity kept the dew on the trees and it was dripping down on the roads as we ran. When we got to the Katy trail the river was running right by it d/t all the flooding. The fog mad it impossible to see across and that added to the beauty. Unfortunatly, Melanie's foot began really hurting her, so we had to stop and discuss what to do. She, being stubborn, decided to finish the course. At times, I would run the major hills and wait for her at the top.
