VERY happy with this race. Went into it not feeling so hot. That bag of peanuts at the game last night was NOT a good idea. Stomach was feeling lousy the whole time. No excuses, just got out and ran! Was moving up most of the first lap. Passed Goetzke, but he got me back when I stopped for a few seconds in the second loop when I thought I was going to barf up peanuts. Got back into it and just put a target on his back. Was fairly certain that I could catch him, just wanted to make sure I did it efficiently. When I made the left onto Lake, he probably had me by 40 or 50 meters. When we made the left onto the parkway, it was about 10. Just stayed on it and eventually passed him. Not sure of results yet, but fairly certain I won the old guy's division. I will call this a PR because I know that Legend's was short!
