OK, this was probably a stupid run.
Plan was to do this as a long run and MAYBE pick it up the last 5.5. Best laid plans never seem to work. Kept trying to back off for the first mile and still came through sub 7. At that point, I just decided to go with it as long as I could keep the HR relatively low. Ended up with AHR of 140 for the full distance, which is decent. Also practiced taking gels and water at 5 and 10 miles.
With that being said, I think that this was probably too fast to be easy and probably not fast enough to be truly fast. A bit of a no man's land run. Live and learn, but I should know better.
