Definitely not my race today. Just never got in a groove, but I did go for it!!!
When JVD passed me at about 9.5, it just really deflated me. Maybe I should have just run with him the whole way instead of trying to run the 1:18? Anyway, when the wheels came off, I think the axle went with them. Just totally fell apart and couldn't even hold 6:07 pace to get under 1:20.
Insult to injury -- got stung on my cool down and went into Anaphylactic shock. That sh$t is no joke.
Back home after 4 plus hours in ER, but seem to be doing much better.
