RPE9. The first 2.5 miles rpe 8. All of a sudden it got hard. I did a warm up running from the office to McMillain ave. I knew I could do mile repeats up and down Mcmillian. The first mile tempo was slightly downhill. I felt great but told myself I may be going a bit fast. 6:22 is too fast for me. The return trip back was slightly uphill. I controled my run this mile but obviously ran hard based on HR above. 2nd mile 7 mins. The next mile tempo was slighlty back downhill. This is where it began to hurt. Finished this mile 7 secs slower then the 1st tempo mile with a 6:29. The 4th mile tempo was back slightly uphill. I ran hard and in control. Avg HR was 170. 4th mile was 7 secs slower then mile 2 tempo. 4th mile was 7:07.
Good run. miles 1 & 3 were the same and were 7 secs difference. Mile 2& 4 were the same mile and were also 7 secs difference. Then ran cooldown and strecthed.
