rpe7-9. Worked abs. Had a good nights sleep. Only got up twice. Great for me...means i slept hard. 7.5 hrs sleep. nothing usually about the hrs of sleep. But the good nights sleep help. Still a bit fatigued. So took the run slower than usual early on and built on each mile. Althought rpe was closer to 8 after a couple of miles my HR never spiked above 144. The lower temps help with effort and pace. I hope i am becoming more efficient or smarter about my maintenance types of runs(perhaps even my long runs). The 2nd mile used to always be my fastest mile. I think the lower temps have also helped me build on my mile splits instead of peaking after the 2nd mile(in regards to fastest split)..Todays run is much closer to my IM tactic on the run. Start slow and build then hold....Finish as strong as i can! did 6 strides of 30 secs on 30 secs off. Good effort today. Felt ok early on. Finished feeling good.
