Good run in central park.. first 3 miles were fairly hilly...the first mile was a little off... im using a NIKE GPS watch and those are always off a tad in my opinion... the last 3 miles i felt great..smooth.. relaxed.. its really easy to run in Central Park and get caught up in the running... its just an amazing feeling to be running in New York City in Central Park..

Today I went to the New York Grand Prix and got to watch David Rudisha run a 1:41.7... it was the most amazing effort and run i have seen because David looked so smooth and powerful.. He never broke stride.. You can tell by his strategies that he isnt intimidated by the competition.. Heres a quote by David.

"I know there are rivals and tough guys to compete with, but I like to have the mentality that it’s not good to focus on one or two people being your rival. The important thing is to just train hard for the competition and prepare for the races so that you are able to handle anything that comes out of it. "

Even though I am going into college and I wont have rivals at the beginning it will help me prepare for the future.. That when concentrating on others, you forget about yourself.
