who knew 1/4 mile intervals could be so long!!! did 2x 5k pace, 2x 1/2 pace - repeat 3x. It was tough, even for what would be an easy to keep pace for a 1/4 mile, it's been a long time! lungs definitely need to catch back up to where the legs are. foot appears to be okay. little cramping towards the very end of the intervals. afterwards there is a little achy - but it seems to be more muscular related. keeping an eye on it.
