Solo Memorial Day run in very favorable, comfortable conditions. Very strong solo run after a PR on Sat - and some recovery running in between. Very encouraged from this run after feeling "depleted" before taking 2 days off last week. Sat's PR and the subsequent mileage shows that I am maintaining my fitness level.
Main fitness concern right now is weight management and my chowing. I was at 171.6 this morn - which is about 4 pounds over desired race wt. It's no secret how I got there. I've been on a tear the last couple of days.
Hoping to drift back down to sub-170 by this weekend -- but the challenge is a 4-day trip to Norwalk, which will inevitably entail many meals.
Mileage goal for this week is 57.
