Tried a new route today. On the plus side, it was a beautiful route, gorgeous houses, pretty scenery, fantastic weather. On the down side, LOTS of hills!! (not what I needed today!). But now I know a good route when I do need/want to run hills!
When the weather and roads are better, I can circle back down to Pioneer Trail or Homeward Hills -- but I knew both of those had crappy sidewalks and are way too busy to run on the road, so I just went 2.5 miles and then reversed my route.
Overall I felt really good. My left hammy hurt a little, but mentally I felt great. And I stuck to the 10:30-11:30 pace I was supposed to be in (see, I can behave myself, Rob!)
