First run in a while. I had a calf scare a couple of weeks ago; a fair amount of calf discomfort following a workout, to the point where I was limping and could pinpoint a pain location in my calf. I took a couple of weeks off and just did the elliptical to keep my fitness.

This run is my first attempt back, and it was actually pretty good. No issues in my calf or achilles, which is huge. I did definitely have some shin splint kind of pain, probably from not running for a couple of weeks. I also felt more out of breath from the running motion that I should have for an easy day, but that will come back quickly. I'm hoping that this is the start of a solid comeback, because I want to run this half marathon in April.
