I slammed into the wall on this run. I basically ran it like a 10 mile hard run with a 3 mile cool-down. I wish I could say I planned that, but I didn't. I just ran too hard and died coming up the hill on 135. A guess would have my average pace around 6:50 or so before I died. Stupid run. Very nice day though, and apart from the pacing failure it was great.
After reading Hudson's book I think I need more hill sprints. He obviously puts a lot of store in them, and it's pretty clear that hills are a weak point for me.
