It was just so hot today, so I chose to run on the treadmill instead. I started out super easy, and just put the speed up by .1 every 5 minutes, until I was bumping up against my HR ceiling. I did the biggest portion of the run around 9:05-9:10 pace, until it got so hot that my HR wouldn't stay down, then I slowly lowered the speed for the last 10 minutes or so.
During the thunderstorm, we lost power in the gym, which was scary, because I almost fell when the belt stopped abruptly.
