I felt very strong on this run. Started out with an easy three miles, then settled into somewhere in the half marathon pace range. I was aiming for 6:10-6:15 or so, and this is what I hit. I passed the two mile marker of the interval at 6:25, then hit the 4 mile mark at 24:47, making the pace right around 6:12. Following that was an easy 3 miles home.

I don't know if it was the lower temperature or the lack of humidity, but this was just a good workout overall. The easy parts were still about 7:30 pace and they felt like a jog, and the 6:12 pace four mile block was especially satisfying because a few weeks ago I did that 2x2 mile workout and 6:20 pace was a struggle even with a 5 minute break between the two. Seems like tangible progress to me.
