Notes
I ran a new course today, down to North Hollow like usual, but I then went up the road and ran to a point I had marked on a map. The route was really nice; it's a rolling dirt road through a sparsely populated area.
Now, I would have thought that I would know a road when I see it, but it turns out the road I marked was actually someone's long driveway. I ended up with two extra miles, which is fine just unexpected. The run felt good overall, even if I was running out of steam the last mile. I went out with the intent of averaging 155 bpm for the run, and for the most part I held that the whole time. I also didn't lose pace over the course of the run, and in fact I did the 1.5 between North Hollow and Plunkton faster on my way back than the way out. Of course, as I sit here composing this, I'm feeling totally wiped out, but I like that feeling anyway.
