I don't know exactly why, but today's run felt really good. Some days, I sleep a lot more than I expect to, and when I run on those days it's usually a good one. I woke up this morning and my RHR was 55, which is about 5 bpm lower than normal. Also, I ate a ton yesterday because of how hungry I felt during my run. I guess it all adds up. Today is the first time I've run sub-10:00 min/miles at an HR under 145. Seems like improvement to me. Granted, I had a few areas where my HR was over 145 and even up to 155, but I personally don't believe it matters all that much if I hit 155 going up a hill.
