I ran to the farm just beyond Old Farm Road today when we got home from Massachusetts. I've decided to run a bit faster in my training, and will probably end up following a plan similar to those Pfitzinger included at the end of Advanced Marathoning.
Today's run was really good considering I spent the day in the car and didn't get a chance to eat or drink much. My HR was pretty steadily between 165 and 180 the whole run. I found that my legs actually have less soreness when I cover the distance more quickly. This week I plan to take it relatively easy so I can be rested for the Stowe race.
