Happy Spring. This was a marvelous run. I'm realizing that I can't be taking two days off between runs, so I started out thinking I wanted so run in such a way that I would be able to run tomorrow, namely, easy. I did that, but also I was fully recovered from Saturday's run, and more. In other words, I felt the strongest, most rested, and most at ease that I've felt in a long time. Quite a few other runners out. Semi-paced a couple of gals on the way back (they passed me at a very slightly faster pace). Only in the last mile did I feel any discomfort in my ankle, and I made my foot stay very relaxed through it. That seemed to help a lot. Post-run, feels good, but I can tell there will be a certain amount of inflammation. Just need to manage it.
