Notes
Sunny, light breeze, 65 deg. Bob and I did a fairly easy run to beyond the Rec Park and back. We went past Val’s house and out through the old field to road. It had been cut last fall, but was really growing back with raspberries. We decided not to run it again until it gets cut again. Ran back through the far field and just before the gate into the park we saw a family of Geese, to parents and 7 goslings. They were up on the back honking and hissing at us, but then they went down the bank, honking away, and into the Swift. That was pretty neat. Turned left and ran past the tennis courts and new soccer field, then came back through the ball fields and back the usual way. Looped around the parking lot to get to 7 miles. Good run, I wanted to keep off the hills because my knees have been sore. They felt ok. My legs still feel tired from the race though.
