Very enjoyable run out in the sticks (Entiat, WA), while on a family camping trip. Out 5 miles, back 5 miles. Ran a 6-minute negative split, thanks to a 100' per mile gain in elevation on the way out. Felt good. Heel was about the same, which in my mind is a good thing (a few miles were sub-7:20, and it was a little sore, but held up okay). Going to try to restrain myself the next 12 days leading into the Lake Youngs Ultra.
